Primetime shows you which days and hours are worth getting out. It keeps your spots, trails and logs on your phone, then gets out of the way.

Pick your day the night before
Time off is short and the best mornings go fast. Primetime puts the moon, the sun and the forecast in one place, so you know when to go before you leave the house.
Solunar calendar
See the whole month at a glance, with each day shaded from poor to best. Tap a day to see its major and minor periods, sunrise and sunset, moon phase, moonrise and moonset.
Calculated on your phone, so no signal is needed
Times for your exact spot, not the nearest city
Best-day alerts the evening before or that morning
A great moon doesn't help much in a 100 km/h gale. The Primetime score starts with the solunar rating and adjusts it for the actual forecast, so you can tell a good day from a good-on-paper day.

Coming next: a smarter score
We're building a version of the score that uses machine learning to weigh more factors, such as wind direction, how fast the pressure is changing, the time of season, species movements, trail camera records and biological data sources.
It's a planning aid. It can't promise a bull or a bite.
Everything you need once you're out there
Download your area before you go. When the bars drop to zero, your map, pins, GPS, routes and notes keep working.
Maps that work offline
Download the satellite map before you leave. Without signal, your map, pins, range finder, compass and GPS keep working. With signal, add contours to read the ridges.
Weather, hour by hour
A 10-day forecast from Apple Weather with wind, gusts, rain and dew point. Forecasts are saved for when you lose signal.
Pressure and radar
See which way the barometer is heading. Tap the radar to play the last 30 minutes and the next six hours across Canada and the U.S.
Depths for fishing
Switch to Fish and lakes show depth contours in feet or metres. Depths load online, so scout the drop-offs and humps before you lose signal.
Journeys
Tap Start hunt and Primetime records your route and waypoints. Lock your phone and put it away. It keeps tracking until you finish.
Pins and blood trails
Mark stands, blinds, cameras, trails and bedding. Save each property as its own map. Track a blood trail and pick it up later.
Hunt and fish logs
Notes, photos and the spot, with that day's rating, sun, moon and weather saved automatically. Learn what works on your ground.
Download what you need
See the area and size before you download, and choose how much detail to keep. Saved maps stay on your phone until you delete them.
Your spots are yours.
You don't share your best spot with strangers, and your app shouldn't either. Primetime has no account, no ad trackers and no company database of your hunts.

You shouldn't have to buy a new solunar calendar every season or pay rent on an app to see your own spots. Primetime doesn't lock your records behind a renewal, and there's no account to cancel.

What are solunar periods?
Solunar periods are based on where the moon is: overhead, underfoot, rising and setting. Many hunters and anglers see more activity around them, especially when they overlap sunrise or sunset. Primetime calculates them for your exact location.
How is the Primetime score different from the solunar rating?
The solunar rating is based on the moon and sun. The Primetime score starts there and adjusts for the forecast: wind, rain or snow, extreme temperatures and pressure. Because it needs a forecast, it covers the next 10 days.
Does it work without cell service?
Yes. Solunar times, pins, logs and journeys are all stored on your phone, and GPS works without signal. Download map areas before you go. Contour and depth layers, new forecasts, radar and map searches need a connection.
Do I need an account?
No. There's nothing to sign up for. Because your records only live on your phone, keep your phone backed up. We can't recover records we never had.
